Use your masks to connect with clients
Wear your mask in public
The whole point of these masks is to associate a smile with the thought of vacation. It’s basic psychology, but it only works when you wear them! Keep one in your pocket all the time…they scrunch up nicely and don’t wrinkle!
Keep your business cards handy, this is an amazing conversation starter! Seriously, nearly half of agents that contact us after wearing their masks mention the compliments they got and the conversations that followed. One agent made a $12k sale after meeting someone that liked the mask and the message!
Send to clients that are booked
Send them a mask and a personal note explaining how excited you are for their next vacation! Be sure to ask them to share a picture of them wearing their mask on vacation to show everyone how easy and fun it is to be safe while traveling!
Send them to clients as a welcome home gift! Include a handwritten note asking them how their trip was and explaining how thrilled you are to work with them in the future. Include the mask and tell them to “Keep your vacation face on” until next time.
Send to clients that had to cancel
If your clients are upbeat, explain how sorry you are that they had to postpone (not cancel) their vacation and hope they wear their Vacation Faces during their staycation…lol.
For clients with Future Travel or Cruise Credits, send them with a note expressing your consolations on the cancelation and that you’re there to handle the hassles of rebooking when their ready. Let the masks speak for themselves.
Send to select past clients
Explain how you saw this mask and thought of them. Wish them well and express how eager you are to book their next dream vacation. Be specific, personal, and genuine.
Send to friends and family
Reach out to see how they’ve been. Ask them to keep one handy “just in case.” If they’re required to wear them, why not do it with a smile on their face?
Post a picture of you wearing one at an airport or even at the grocery store. Then, send them to friends and family asking them post a pic to social media of them wearing it. It’s an easy way to remind a lot of people that they’ll vacation again (and that you’re a travel agent).
Partner with local businesses
Put your card in the included zip lock bag and leave them for patrons that may have forgotten theirs. The owners will appreciate it and so will their customers!
Make it a cross-network promotion. Offer “Free Travel Insurance on your next vacation” with the purchase of whatever the business owner would like to promote. Every business owner loves offering incentives that are free to them, and the owner’s endorsement as they hand them out is priceless!
